This week, propane and butane prices experienced a decline compared to the previous week.
Propane prices averaged $450.8/MT, down 7.2% from the previous week's $485.9/MT, while Butane prices averaged $420.3/MT, down 9.2% from the last week's $463.0/MT.

Crude Oil Price Movements

Market Factors responsible for the drop in prices include, Weak Demand Signals from China, which has dampened market sentiment, Rising production from non-OPEC sources which continues to exert downward pressure and the absence of major disruptions which has kept prices from surging.

Nigeria LPG depot prices continue to find new lower levels.
LPG depot prices in Apapa declined compared to last week, with some depots selling as low as 16.6 million Naira per 20MT. Prices at Dangote Refinery remained stable, ranging between 16.5 and 16.7 million Naira per 20MT. Stockgap Depot in Port Harcourt also held steady, selling between 17.5 and 17.6 million Naira per 20MT throughout the week. LPG prices are expected to remain stable in the coming week, as domestic market conditions continue to drive pricing with minimal influence from international trends.
LPG Retail Prices steady.
Retail LPG prices showed varying trend within Lagos; selling from as low as N12,000 to as much as 16,000/12.5kg, but generally, retail prices at 14,000/12.5kg levels nationwide.
