LPG retail prices across Nigeria increased by 39% in one year - September 2022 report
LPG retail price information gathered from the LPG in Nigeria community on Facebook and Twitter suggests that retail price may have increased by 39% from September 2021 to September 2022.
Information received from respondents in 2021, suggests an average retail price of N7023.00 in September 2021 and N9774.00 per 12.5kg in September 2022 - a 39% increase Year on Year.
Details of LPG retail prices information shared by 27 respondents:
The highest selling retail price of LPG came from Ebonyi and Gombe states, at N11,000 .00 per 12.5KG. The lowest was from Akure, at N8,875.00 per 12.5KG.
Others include Damaturu, Abuja, Ado Ekiti, Udu Local government in Delta state, and Rumudumoya in PortHarcourt - all N10,000.00 per 12.5KG.
Osogbo, Ogijo ( Ogun state), Ajegunle, sold at N9000.00 per 12.5KG.
Others were, Ibadan at 9400, Lagos at 9375, Port Harcourt at 10,650, and Katsina at 9400 per 12.5KG
