I notice there is no mention of any Nigerian product performance requirements for combustion efficiency, particularly the emission of CO, usually given as a concentration ratio of CO2, CO/CO2 ratio, often termed the combustion efficiency.
I was unable to identify a Nigerian standard covering the performance and safety of the cooking appliances. For example, is there a requirement to meet a ≤2% CO/CO2 ratio? This is common target for kerosene and LPG stoves.
Additionally, is there any requirement to meet a thermal efficiency minimum, and particulate matter maximum?
I am prompted to ask these questions because in Kenya there is such a requirement for ethanol stoves, the same for ethanol, methanol, kerosene and LPG stoves in South Africa.
Any guidance will be appreciated.

Thank you
