Both Propane and Butane prices remain rangebound, closing at a weekly average of $389.9/MT and $392.9/MT for Propane and Butane, respectively, against the previous week's average close of $399.2/MT and $399.4/MT.
Crude Oil Market: Tariffs and uncertainties.
Crude prices took a ranging trend position; hardly closing the week different from the previous week's closes. WTI closed at $61.68 , from 61.71 in the previous week, while Brent settled at $64.79 from $64.77 in the previous week.
The ranging movement of oil prices can be linked to the uncertainties in the 50% tarrif on EU goods by President Trump. We also have the OPEC+ is set to agree on releasing an additional 411,000 b/d production into the market for July as the body plans to meet on June 1, which could send oil prices lower.
Nigeria LPG Market: Depot Prices shift lower
Depot prices in Apapa dipped slightly again during the week, trading around 18.3 million per 20MT, as the return of Dangote Refinery continues to ripple through the market.
The Market is still not well supplied, which has kept prices at the current levels.
In the South-South, depot prices also dipped following the resumption of LPG at some Gas processing plants.
We expect more dips in the coming week. As more supplies enter the market.
Retail Market: Prices Hold Steady
