LPG Prices Continue Bearish Trend
Both Propane and Butane prices declined further last week, building on the previous week’s mild dip and signalling the emergence of a bearish trend. Propane closed at a weekly average of $384.7/MT, while Butane settled at $380.8/MT, down from the prior week’s averages of $389.9/MT and $392.9/MT, respectively.
Crude Oil Market Faces OPEC+ Uncertainty and Renewed Tariff Tensions
Crude oil prices turned lower last week as the US-China tariff disputes resurfaced, dampening market optimism. However, a more significant driver of bearish momentum could be the outcome of OPEC+ production decisions, with Kazakhstan signalling it will maintain output above its agreed quotas.
WTI closed at $60.46, down from $61.68 in the previous week, while Brent slipped to $63.84 from $64.79.
The market is closely watching for OPEC+ signals on potential production increases, which could lead to lower prices in the weeks ahead.
